Types of Therapy
My approach to therapy is drawn from many influences, with significant elements of relational psychoanalysis and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)(an off-shoot of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)), as well as spiritual integration for those requesting it. I often recommend behavioral assignments, including reading, journaling, and healthy lifestyle behaviors as an extension of what is done during the therapy hour. Other approaches include:
